ALUMINIUM For drinking cans and kitchenware? YES IF...

Aluminium can be mixed with 3% Calcium to make it a noble metal.

Pure Al has a break limit of 29kg/mm2.

with 3% Ca    36kg   plus 3% Litium    45     plus 3% Cupper   50     Na 4,3%    60 its still yours for drinking and cooking.

For other things add Zink  9% strength increases to 80kg.

Aluminium can be soldered with Magnesium in powder form as from cutting it with an hacksaw.

blow Neon gas throw it and apply on the joint. For stronger joints add 6% Zink to it.
Magnesium has 46 break limit? 
Can be possible to put a cupper wire in the joint insted of gas, and the Magnesium as a slim rod.
Soldering Aluminium to Cupper is easy.
